The only metrics that matter: calls, directions, and booked jobs.
We report on what actually drives revenue for a local business, not impressions or vanity charts. Here is the work, with the numbers.
Case studies are on the way.
We are wrapping up the first full-quarter numbers with current clients and will publish them here, with names and figures, as soon as each client signs off. The first write-up is already live without the name attached: how a laundromat went from 11 profile calls a month to 26, with the full work log and the numbers that did not move. In the meantime, the fastest way to see what we would do for your business is a free audit of your own listing.

What we hold ourselves to
Every retainer reports the same four numbers, every month. If they are not moving, you should not be paying us.
Map Pack rank
Where you sit in the three-business Google Maps box for the searches that bring jobs.
Calls & directions
Google Business Profile calls and direction requests, the actions that turn into walk-ins and bookings.
Review velocity
New reviews and rating trend against your three closest local competitors.
Leads captured
Form fills and click-to-call events from the site, tracked, not guessed.

What your monthly report contains
One page, on the last Friday of the month. It is written so that a busy owner can read it between jobs and know whether the money worked. Here is every line on it, and where each number comes from.
1. Map Pack rank, by search and by town
Not one average position. A grid of the searches that actually bring you work, each one checked from inside your service area, because Google shows a different three-business box in Collingwood than it does in Wasaga Beach or Meaford. A plumber can hold position two downtown and sit outside the box four kilometres away, and a single site-wide number hides that completely.
Why local map rankings move by postcode
Proximity is one of the three things Google weighs in the local pack, alongside relevance and prominence. You cannot move your shop, so the work goes into the other two, and the grid is how we prove which direction the box is expanding.
2. Calls and direction requests from Google
These come from your Google Business Profile, not from us, so you can open the app and check every figure yourself. A direction request from a homeowner is a stronger buying signal than any traffic number, because nobody asks for driving directions to a contractor out of curiosity.
3. Review velocity against your three closest competitors
Your review count on its own means nothing. What matters is the gap between you and the three businesses sitting in the box you want. We report your new reviews this month, their new reviews this month, and the rating difference, so you can see whether the gap is closing or widening. Reviews arriving steadily beat a burst of reviews that then stops.
How many Google reviews a local business needs
There is no universal number, and anyone who gives you one is guessing. The target is set by whoever currently holds third place for your trade in your town, which is why we measure it per client rather than publishing a figure. We wrote up the method in how many Google reviews it takes to rank in Collingwood.
4. Leads captured on the site
Form fills and click-to-call taps, tracked as events, not estimated from traffic. On the plans that include missed-call text-back, this line also carries the calls you did not answer and the ones the automatic text recovered.
What we deliberately leave out
Impressions, keyword counts, and "positions improved" charts. All three can rise in a month where your phone rang less, which makes them worse than useless on a report you are paying to read.
The trap is easy to see once you look for it. A page can climb from position thirty to position eight and still send you nobody, because a title that does not answer the question in the searcher's head gets scrolled past at any rank. An impressions chart calls that a good month. Your call log calls it a quiet one. We report the second kind of number, because it is the kind that pays a mortgage.
Plans, inclusions, and the terms of the 90-day Map Pack movement guarantee are on the pricing page. The client results we are cleared to publish are on our reviews page.
